Tasker Terms of Use

1. Introduction

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Tasker, a task management application developed and operated by TOOB Development. By creating an account or using Tasker, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use Tasker.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use Tasker and enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you. Tasker is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.

3. Your Account

Certain Tasker features require you to create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your credentials secure.

4. Your Content

Tasker allows you to create and store task information, including titles, descriptions, dates, reminders, priorities, recurrence settings, and related information. You retain responsibility for the content you enter into Tasker.

You should not use Tasker to store content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or that infringes the rights of another person.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Tasker, including attempting to:

• Access another user's account or data without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt Tasker or its supporting infrastructure
• Circumvent application security or authentication controls
• Introduce malicious software or harmful code
• Use Tasker for unlawful activities
• Abuse, overload, or intentionally disrupt the service

6. Tasks, Reminders and Notifications

Tasker provides task organization and reminder functionality for convenience. Notifications and reminders may depend on device settings, operating system behavior, battery optimization, notification permissions, network availability, and other factors outside the control of TOOB Development.

You should not rely on Tasker as the sole method for managing critical, emergency, medical, financial, legal, safety-related, or other time-sensitive obligations.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but Tasker may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, infrastructure failures, updates, or other circumstances. We do not guarantee that Tasker will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Changes to Tasker

Tasker may be changed, improved, updated, or modified over time. Features may be added, changed, or removed. Future versions may include optional paid features, subscriptions, advertising, or other services. Any additional terms or disclosures required for those features will be provided when applicable.

9. Fees and Paid Features

Tasker is currently available without a required subscription. TOOB Development may introduce optional paid features or subscription plans in the future. Any applicable pricing and payment terms will be presented before you choose to purchase a paid feature.

10. Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your Tasker account from within the application or request deletion through the Account & Data Deletion page. Account deletion permanently removes your Tasker account and associated task data, subject to any limited retention reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, or technical purposes.

11. Privacy

Your use of Tasker is also subject to the Tasker Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

Tasker, including its application design, software, branding, graphics, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to TOOB Development except where otherwise stated. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Tasker or its intellectual property to you.

13. Third-Party Services

Tasker relies on third-party technology and infrastructure providers, including cloud infrastructure and mobile operating system services. The operation of these services may be subject to their own terms, availability, and policies.

14. Disclaimer

Tasker is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. TOOB Development does not guarantee that Tasker will meet every user's requirements or that every reminder, notification, or task-related operation will occur without interruption or error.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TOOB Development will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use Tasker. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Tasker evolves or as legal, operational, or business requirements change. The date at the top identifies when they were most recently updated. Where required, notice of material changes will be provided through Tasker or another appropriate method.
